Armando Rodarte - Assistant Plant Manager, Prescott Newspapers, Inc.
Armando was born and raised in Prescott, Arizona.
He started delivering the Daily Courier when he was 10 years old. When Armando graduated from Prescott High School he started employment with the Daily Courier in the Mailroom/Inserting department. He became a supervisor at the ripe age of 19 years old.
During the next 13 years he was promoted to several different production titles with a small stint working in the Circulation department as a Route Supervisor. He held the titles as Mailroom Supervisor, Distribution Manager, Asst. Production Manager, and Production Manager.
He then decided to move to Phoenix, Arizona and enter into the field of Computer Networking. He quickly found himself going back into web offset printing, and started working for a commercial print company in Phoenix as an Assistant Plant Manager. In 2 years he was promoted to Plant Manager and given his own plant in Las Cruces, New Mexico, which he held for 6.5 years.
He heard his hometown calling him and decided to move him and his family back to Prescott. He started a career working in the quality assurance department at at a local manufacturing company. He then decided to come back where his printing career all started here with Prescott Newspapers Inc.
Armando had 2 uncles and an aunt that worked for The Daily Courier and the Soldwedel family back in the 1960’s. You may say that printing is in his blood.
