OHV use and access is topic of Chamber's special meeting
-The closing of an OHV-accessible road near the Bluebell Mine sparked an information meeting in Mayer on May 14. The Arizona Highway 69 Chamber sponsored the meeting at the Mayer Rec Center.
BLM starts fire use restrictions today
-The U.S. Bureau of Land Management plans to implement fire-use restrictions Wednesday, May 22, on the Agua Fria National Monument and all other BLM lands in Yavapai County. The restrictions will cover all of the BLM's Phoenix District.

-Mayer Area Meals On Wheels Congregate lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Low salt, sugar and fat guidelines are followed. Menus subject to change. Salad bar served daily in congregate dining. Public welcome. 928-632-7511.
