About Camp Verde Bugle

Camp Verde Bugle is a three-times weekly zoned edition of The Verde Independent, covering the communities of Camp Verde, Lake Montezuma, Rimrock and McGuireville. Camp Verde Bugle was named in recognition of the bugle calls still heard daily in Camp Verde from an old U.S. Cavalry outpost now known as Fort Verde State Historic Park. The newspaper has been published since 1986.

The flagship publication, the award-winning The Verde Independent, serving the Verde Valley region of north-central Arizona since the publication started in 1948. The three-times weekly product is the primary news source for the Upper Verde region of the Verde Valley, covering the communities of Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Jerome, Verde Village, Cornville, Page Springs and Sedona.

Robbie's reopens: Community outreach 'amazing' since March 16 fire

-

Judging just by the pizza sales, the Dec. 11 soft 'reopening' of Robbie's Restaurant must have been a little hectic. By definition, a soft open - or in this case a soft reopen - implies little fanfare, little promotion, just an opportunity for staff to test the operations, procedures and facilities of the business. But the folks at the Rimrock restaurant did not expect to have a record-breaking day. All they knew was that they could hardly wait to serve their community the best food they could at the best prices possible.
