Plant Manager

 We have an excellent opportunity available for the right candidate who wants to grow with the leader in local area news!  We publish a 6-day a week newspaper publication for the Mohave County area focusing on daily local news for Kingman, AZ.  Our 24 hour commercial print facility is located in Golden Valley, AZ, which is centrally located to Las Vegas, the Colorado River, Lake Havasu City, and Flagstaff, AZ.  We are seeking a hands-on experienced plant manager to supervise all phases of a commercial print facility including, press, prepress, bindery, and finishing while maintaining exceptional quality control of all press and mailroom products.  Must be detail-orientated, able to meet deadlines, sell & service outside print accounts, and able to operate production equipment.  Current forklift certification required and must be able to lift 50 lbs.  Excellent customer service and organizational skills required. 

This is a full-time position with a voluntary benefits package, 401k, and PTO.  EEOE

Kingman Daily Miner has immediate openings for Web Press Operators to run our newly installed press units. This position is located at our print facility in Golden Valley, AZ. Previous experience with DGM four highs, Goss Community mono units, Winkle, Jardis or Martin splicers, Goss SSC folders, Web sizes up to 34 inches, and Quarter folding is required. Proficient in identification of acceptable/unacceptable standards of finished product while ensuring acceptable newsprint waste standards. Night and weekend shifts required.
