About the Central Printing Facility
WNI's Central Printing Facility in located in Golden Valley, Arizona, approximately 15 miles from Kingman. The pressroom has a 15-unit Goss Suburban press (eight of these united are two 4-high units for 4-color printing), with a community folder and suburban folder, each with quarter folders. The inserting department has an 11-unit Sheridan insert line and Mueller Martini 6-pocket saddle stitcher. The production department operates 24-hours a day, 7-days a week with three crews.
Western News&Info, Inc.® has a long history in the business of printing and publishing, beginning in the mid-1930s with the Yuma Daily Sun. Combining efforts through the years, Foy F. McNaughton and former Board Chairman Don Soldwedel purchased or started additional newspapers properties. Besides operating Newspapers through the years, the Soldwedels were also involved in commercial printing and television operations.
As of today, Western News&Info, Inc.® owns newspaper publications throughout Arizona and California, an outdoor advertising company, two radio stations, a variety of shoppers, real estate guides, two phone books and three commercial printing businesses.
The corporate offices are in Yuma.
