Rich Thurlow - Editor, Kingman Daily Miner

Rich Thurlow came to the Kingman Daily Miner in July 2004 with over 25 years of newspaper experience. He was the publisher and co-owner of the Pahrump (Nevada) Valley Times from 1989 to November 2002. He came to Pahrump in August 1989 and worked as a reporter for the newspaper until the sale was completed.

Prior to that, Thurlow was the associate publisher of the Platte County Record-Times, a weekly located in Wheatland, Wyoming, from May 1983 to August 1989.

Thurlow was a sports writer, then sports editor, for the Scotts Bluff, Neb., Star-Herald from August 1978 until May of 1983. He started his newspaper career as a photographer, ad salesman and reporter with the Torrington, Wyoming, Telegram, in October 1976.
